ICMRBS Founders Medal
Call for Nominations
The Council of the International Conferences on Magnetic Resonance in Biological Systems [ICMRBS] hereby requests nominations for the ICMRBS Founders Medal. This Medal is given biennially to a scientist under 41 years of age at the time of the award who has made exceptional contributions to developments and/or progress in the area of magnetic resonance in biological systems. The award carries an honorarium of $3000.
The award was first presented at the 20th ICMRBS in Toronto, Canada in 2002. Since then, the award was presented at the 21st and 22nd ICMRBS in Hyderabad, India in 2005 and in Goettingen, Germany in 2006, respectively. The next presentation will be made during the 23rd ICMRBS in Sandiego, USA, 24-29 August 2008.

Nominations are to be submitted by e-mail to the Council Chairman, Prof. Masatsune Kainosho [Tokyo Metropolitan University] –kainosho@nmr.chem.metro-u.ac.jp .
